The BTEC Applied Psychology level 3 course has been designed for learners who wish to gain core understanding of applied psychology. The course covers 4 units, 2 of which have exam based and the other 2 course work based with a total of 6 assignments.
*Psychological approaches and applications (Biological, Social, Learning and Cognitive)
*Health Psychology
*shows where an exam will be sat.
5 GCSEs including English and Maths Grade 4-9.
The assessment consists of six assignments (3 for research methods and 3 for criminal and forensic psychology) and two exams.
The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to admission requirements to many courses. When combined with other qualifications within a two-year study programme, such as Criminology. AS or A Levels, other BTEC programmes and Diplomas, you can progress to higher education.
